At Co-op Academy Grove, geography provision is designed to develop a life-long curiosity and fascination about the world, through a range of enquiries and studies of our local area.

Geography teaching at Co-op Academy Grove will develop the children’s knowledge of their local community, and what makes it unique and special. In addition, they will develop their knowledge and understanding of the wider world and enjoy learning about how people live in different locations. Our curriculum is designed for the progression of geographical concepts, knowledge, understanding and skills, enabling the children to develop a love for geography.
