Uniform shows that we are in a community. Wearing it says we’re all in this together.
Our Academy Uniform
Boys
- Mid-grey full-length trousers, shorts can be worn in summer
- Short/long sleeved white shirts
- Co-op Academy Grove tie
- Co-op Academy Grove blazer with logo
- Navy V neck jumper can be worn in cold weather UNDER the blazer and does not replace it at any other time.
- Grey / black socks
- Black school shoes
Girls
- Purple tartan kilt, (knee length), grey skirt or mid-grey full-length trousers
- Summer dresses (purple and white check) may be worn in summer.

- Knee length grey socks, grey tights in winter

All items of school uniform must be clearly labelled with the child’s name.
PE
Pupils are to come to school in their PE kit on PE and Swimming days.
- Black shorts, leggings or jogging bottoms
- Purple T-shirt
- Black training shoes
- Swimming trunks or one piece swimsuit,
- Swim cap
- Towel
We do not allow PE bags to be brought into school, for health and safety reasons. Children to attend school in their PE kit on days when they have PE or sports clubs
General
- Warm and waterproof coat with hood
- Sun hat when sunny
- Book bags – (No backpacks)
- Lunchbox for packed lunches
- Water bottle with a sports lid
- Make up, nail polish and temporary tattoos must not be worn
- No umbrellas
- No sunglasses (unless prescription)

Additional Information
Jewellery
- No chains, rings or bracelets to be worn
- Stud earrings may be worn, but must be removed for PE and after-school sports clubs, Staff are not allowed to assist with this
- Standard ‘non-toy’ watches may be worn. Co-op Academy Grove cannot take responsibility for them and they must be removed for P.E. lessons
- No smart watches to be worn
Hair
- Long hair must be tied back
- No dyed, shaved lines or patterned hairstyles. No braids.
- Back and sides of hair should be no shorter than a Grade 1
- Hair accessories should be small and plain in colours grey, purple or navy
- No tinsel or coloured braids
- Head scarves must be in academy colours of grey, purple or navy
Footwear
- Footwear must be black, with a secure fastening (buckles, laces or Velcro)
- Open-toed sandals, shoes with raised heels, clogs or mules
- Black training shoes are to be worn with PE kit – they are only part of the P.E. uniform and should not be worn at other times during the day
