Lunches
Ensuring our pupils are well-fed and hydrated is crucially important.
We want our children to be alert and engaged every moment of the day, and we know that a healthy diet is central to this.
Co-op Academy Grove is a nut-free school. Please ensure any food sent into school is free from nuts (especially peanut butter or nutella). Thank you for your support.
Find our menus linked at the bottom of this page.
Free School Meals
To check your eligibility for free school meals we are asking all parents / carers to apply for Free School Meals. This is irrespective of whether you believe your child is eligible for free school meals or not. If your child is eligible, even if only for a very short period, our academy receives £1,345 Pupil Premium funding into the school budget for the next 6 years. As you can imagine, this funding makes a significant difference to the opportunities we can offer to the children. It is more important than ever that we know the number of pupils for whom we can claim Pupil Premium funding to provide the best resources and education for the children.
The most efficient and quickest way to get a decision is for parents /carers to apply online themselves here. It’s quick and easy to apply and you will get an instant notification of entitlement. To complete an application you will need to provide:
- Your own name, address and date of birth
- Contact details
- National Insurance Number or National Asylum Seekers Number
- Child's name and date of birth
